Plumbing over the years has become a much sort after industry. In the 1980’s tradesmen were in abundance and many school leavers left school gained apprenticeships and became skilled plumbers. Unfortunately by the 1990’s employers became scarce in employing school leavers under apprenticeships leaving a decline in the industry for young skilled plumbers. This then has had the adverse effect where now a day’s people and businesses are crying out for plumbers. Due to the shortage of skilled plumbers has led to a major amount of plumbers being able to command very good wages and extortionate prices for the work that they undertake.
